Regulation touches almost every segment of industry in the UK and the life science sector has not escaped the attention of regulators in either Westminster or Brussels. To the contrary, many scientists and clinicians are now compelled to deal with a growing number of different and sometimes interrelating regulatory frameworks - from research and treatment, through to product development and follow-up.

We advise on the interpretation and application of regulation in a variety of settings. We also assist with licence applications, liaise with regulatory bodies, and represent clients at hearings before regulatory tribunals.

Beyond UK legislation, we have advised extensively on the application of EU regulation to UK products, therapies and research. We have also been involved in advising companies and other organisations on the regulations relating to public procurement and tendering processes.
